Welcome to Know Thyself Healing Center's website! We have just
relocated from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to Greenville, SC -- so
look for changes and updates as we get settled.

Know Thyself Healing Center (KTHC) is dedicated to wellness in body,
mind and spirit. We offer Therapeutic Massage, Ionic Foot Detox, Reiki
healing and training, The Reconnection and Reconnective Healing, and  
Emotional Freedom Techniques.

The name of Know Thyself Healing Center uses the ancient Greek
maxim, "Know Thyself," which has been expressed or implied by many
philosophers across the ages including Socrates and the Oracle at
Delphi, and is found in the New Testament.  The expression
acknowledges the oneness of the Universe: ourself and all living things
with the Higher Power, whose name is as varied as there are peoples on
earth. We draw upon our inner wisdom and the Higher Power (God) to
bring love, peace, harmony and beauty into our lives.

What do you seek, O Pilgrim on the Path?  
“Liberation from pain and freedom from all suffering.”

Diana is a licensed Massage and
Bodywork Therapist in the State of
South Carolina and is nationally
certified through the National
Certification Board for Therapeutic
Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB).

Diana is also a Usui/Tibetan Reiki
Master Teacher and a Karuna Reiki®
Master Teacher, licensed by the
International Center for Reiki
Training (ICRT).

Diana received Reiki I and II in 1998
from William Lee Rand and in March
of 2006 she received her Advanced
Reiki Training and Reiki Master
training also from William Lee Rand,
founder and president of The
International Center for Reiki
Training (ICRT).

In October 2006, she received her
Karuna Master® training from
Laurelle Shanti Gaia, founder of the
Infinite Light Healing Studies Center
in Sedona, AZ, licensed by the ICRT.

Diana teaches the Usui/Tibetan style
of Reiki, which is a combination of
Japanese and Western Reiki methods.
She will soon offer classes in Karuna
Reiki® healing.

Diana earned a BA in English from
the University of Colorado in 1980 and
a Master of Education degree from the
University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse in
1990.  She taught English and Multi-
Cultural Education at the high school
and college levels from 1989-1998 and
served as the Regional Representative
of a U.S. Senator from 1999-2006.

and developed by William Lee Rand of the
International Center for Reiki Training.
Principles of Know Thyself Healing Center

Know Thyself Healing Center affirms and promotes in its healing practices and teachings the following principles:

  1. The inherent worth and dignity of every person.
  2. The willingness to understand and accept people of every culture, race, gender, sexual orientation, religion,
    national origin, disability, age, etc.; to vigilantly ferret out prejudice or bias in ourselves; and to consciously
    replace it with light and compassion.
  3. The free and responsible search for truth and meaning without judgment or blame.
  4. Placing higher value on the right of learning from personal experience, inner guidance, and conscience than
    on the teachings of an outside authority.
  5. The goal of world community with the understanding that we are all One.
  6. Taking personal responsibility for one's situation in life, including health or dis-ease.
  7. Respect for the individual's right to form their own values and beliefs.
  8. The sanctity of the human person as a creative "I AM" presence of God/Higher Power/Universe in Earth.
  9. Trusting completely in the Higher Power regardless of the name one chooses to call it.
  10. Acknowledging that a person has the resources or the ability to develop them in order to solve any problem
